While I was at The Pure Living Expo, I got to sample many healthy products. My favorite of all favorites was the Greener Grasses by Health Force.
Health Force had three chilled liquid dispensers set up at their booth, and while I suppose they intended that people would try a little and move on, I pretty much made it my watering hole for the weekend.
Every time I would grab a glass and chat up the staff about the amazingness of the Greener Grasses, they’d load me up with some more samples.
This is what I ended up with.
I also decided to do a trial of Vitamineral Green.
There’s lots of green stuff in it.
The bottle says, “it’s an array of nature’s most nutritive and cleansing superfoods.”
There’s so many ingredients, I don’t want to type them out, but basically, there’s green stuff from land (like grasses), green stuff from the waters (like spirulina), green stuff from the ocean (like kelp), enzymes, and probiotics.
While Vitamineral Greens and Greener Grasses are both green, and they both contain grasses, there are differences.
Greener grasses has an earthy, and subtle grassy taste. I mix it with chilled, filtered water so that I can taste it’s subtlety. I love it.
Vitermineral greens has many more ingredients and an herby smell. I don’t know how it tastes because I wouldn’t ever think of taking it alone!
I’ve been mixing it smoothies with unsweetened nutmilk and fruit.
My favorite line from the bottle:
“Drink consciously and with positive intent.” Huh? You don’t see that on a bottle often, but I like it. I like it a lot, actually.
Health Force recommends that when adding any new product to your regime, start out with a smaller dose and then gradually build. This has to do with the detoxification process. If to take too much too soon, you feel sick (for me in the past it has been sore muscles and a mini flu-like symptoms). Just start with a teespoon’s worth for the first week and go up to two teespoons on the second.
This week I’m giving away a 500 gram bottle of Vitamineral Greens for our product giveaway!
