Can we manipulate the physical reality with our thoughts?
If so, I would imagine that our world look like a darker more sinister version of Jumangi. In E Squared, author Pam Grout presents nine experiments to prove that the Field of Potentiality (FP) exists and that we can manipulate it with our thoughts. (I use Grout’s term FP and The Universe interchangeably throughout this experiment series). As I mentioned in an earlier post, I (now) know that I can manifest money. Handled. I know that I can manifest success. Check. But there is one area in my life in which I have been struggling… manifesting LOVE.
So as I go through all nine experiments, I’m honing my skills in preparation for the Big One. I’m going to figure out how to manifest a boyfriend.
Experiment 1: Ask for Proof The first experiment isn’t too specific, but it is easy. The hypothesis is that the FP exists, and all you need to do to prove it exists is to ask for proof. It’s easy. Go for it. 1) Tell The Universe that you want proof of the FP’s existence. 2) Give the FP 48 hours to give you an undeniable sign of its existence. 3) Optional: When the FP gives you proof, post your story to the comments section of this blog. I did the experiment. I laid in bed that night and I said, “Dear Universe, give me a clear, undeniable sign that the FP exists. You have 48 hours to make this happen!” Then I went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, nothing had happened.
Soon, twelve hours had passed, and I started to become nervous that the FP didn’t exist. Or maybe it didn’t like me. Or maybe I had done it wrong. Or maybe I wouldn’t know what to look for and miss it! Then I remembered that I had another 36 hours to go, so I rested calm in knowing that it would, in fact, materialize.
The experiment specifies that I have to be open to the ways in which the FP responds. I can’t ask for anything specific. But just between you and me, I do have a few specific items that if they did pop up, would make me an instant believer. What would make me an instant believer?
Why don't you try it? To participate in this experiment all you have to do is ask The Universe for proof, wait 48 hours for that proof to manifest, and then post your results to the comments section. Get going on this experiment! I can’t wait to hear about who pops up on your front porch! The results for experiment 1 are posted! "Results! Experiment 1: Manifested!" Happy manifesting! Kathleen, I appreciate that you noted, "you've got to play your part." There is definitely two required elements involving setting an intention AND dong the work to make it happen. I'm sure that most of our action are unconscious, so when we set an intention, we actually program our actions to work towards that goal as well. :-)

All right, there you have it: On the first day of the experiment I had images or instructions popping up in my head saying: "Wait until 7 pm, take a tram, drive a little and thenlet your guide dog to lead you wherever it goes." Yep, I'm blind and I have the most lovely guide dog who loves to make up his own routes. So that's what we did: we actually took a cople of trams, with no idea of where we got off. We walked about half an hour in the park. (At that spot I really thought I'm an idiot.) But life encouraged me to go on: Right there a mother and a child passed me with bike and I heard the child saying: "Not yet home!" Okay, I thought, not yet home. I went on and on, until I started to realise that I was just next to the great amusement park! I love the Place especially the roller coaster! Think of it: we could have gone anywhere else, cause I really had no idea of my location and don't even know how to get there consciously! And because it was evening it was not so crowded there and I could go around with my guide dog. Woooh!

Rikka, What an amazing time you had. I love that you followed your inner guidance and just trusted that you would be led somewhere. And what a surprising adventure! Wow. Thank you!

Good stuff and really happy to see someone posting about this! I first tried manifesting in 2006 and guess what, it worked and I'm still doing what I love to this very day:)
